This is an old track that follows the river, without signs or marks during the track.
It was very nice, but I think it would be much better if you have a GPS.

I crossed to the South Island at midnight, the journey was nice.
I could see a gorgeous moon! But there were too many people sleeping in the chairs, I could not find a place to sit so I sat on the floor. I would do it again during the daylight.

Lake Monowai Carpark to Green Lake

This track is just beautiful!
I walked from Lake Monowai to the Green Lake Hut, it was the first track I did and it took me 8 hours. It is not an easy track, better with good tramping boots!

Lower Princhester Hut to Becketts Hut track

It is a wonderful track, it goes through the forest, crossing a stream and river, sometimes it can be very steep.
I did not have a GPS and a few times I could not see the signs of the track clearly. It was all an adventure! Beautiful views.

It is a very nice park just a few minutes out of Tauranga.
I did the waterfall tack after the sunset and I could see glowworms, it was fantastic!!
