Attempted walk up the gorge, restricted by a swollen river (rainfall) could not go to the end safely - no description of river crossings/warnings in books/tourist information.

Caught the Beachcomber ferry out to Ship Cove where we did a 15km walk to Endeavour Inlet - amazing views over the Sounds - you won't believe your eyes!!

Got up close (not too close) to a seal colony and headed along the coast, lovely easy track around to South Bay - only setback was cloudy and misty weather.
