To travel New Zealand a campervan is definitely the best option.
If you prefer staying at quiet spaces really in nature, a self-contained certificate is a must have. Free campsites can be found best with the Rankers App, which covers the whole of New Zealand.

Starting from Marahau, the aqua taxi brings you to several points along the Abel Tasman Coast Track.
Stopping at the divided apple rock and a seal colony, the ride itself is a fantastic activity. Price ($35 to Torrent Bay) is okay. Boats at cruising at 50kmh.

The track from Kepler Track carpark to Luxmore Hut wind nicely through impressive rainforest up to 1000m, from where you can have a nice view of the surroundings.
With its 27km distance you should have some endurance. Especially worth if no clouds are present.

During high tide this place is a great experience.
The blow holes are amazing and impressive. The wave-driven natural fountains can be so high that you should expect to get wet. At this time it was a bit crowded.

Walking the Abel Tasman Coast Track from Torrent Bay to Marahau is a beautiful day hike.
On about 20km the track goes along the coast through nice forest. There are plenty of small bays that invite you to go swimming. So, plan at least 6 hours for the hike!
