Book in advance since your preferred date and time might not be available. Date can be changed even if it is a non-refundable ticket. Ferry itself not very interesting. Find a good seat in the beginning!

One of the most breathtaking scenery.
Even if you are not a Lord of the Rings fan you should go there. Way up the gravel road but worth it! You want to step out and take pictures all the time. Path is well maintained. Great little hanging bridge.

Quite short (1 hour) but steep walk up.
Not many people - happy to get away from touristic Queenstown. Choose different tracks and see mountain bikers. Last metres are boring. But if you are late enough the Gondola down might be free.
