Nice place but a little expensive ($36 per person) and the visit is too short.
The free shuttle between the CBD and the aquarium is a good idea.

Very nice walk with a beautiful lookout.
Different way for access to the top. After some effort you can take a cold drink in the main street or just walk on the beach.

The wild beach.
Sand dunes are huge, huge rock hill, clean water, strong waves. It was incredible. You can easily see sea lions!

Very popular and we understand why.
Awesome landscape, great walk. We walked from Marahau to Bark Bay in one day. It was a little bit hard but not impossible. Nice campsite too.

One of our favourite beaches in New Zealand.
Black sand, lots of beautiful walkways. But be careful, the sea is often dangerous for bathing.

The landscape is mind blowing and surreal.
Just amazing for foreigners who want to see volcanic ground. Not too expensive, diverse, good walk and a free shuttle.
