Great holiday park.
Literally like a rainforest! Great bar onsite called the Monsoon Bar. Make you sure you keep the map as it can be tricky to find your way around once you leave your site. Was reasonable for two people on a powered site (<$36). Gravel road throughout. Located very close to Franz.

Great location as its located close to town.
Plenty of campervans around the night we stayed. Plenty of space as well and on surfaced ground. About 30 mins to ferry.

Nice location.
Showers only go for 4 mins. Laundry facility there which we used and was great, about $2. Quiet over the winter period like most places so didn't have to book ahead. Good lighting within the park. Friendly gentleman at reception. Think it was around $34 for two adults on a powered site.

Tangarakau Gorge

If travelling south it is located just as you cross the bridge on the right hand side.
Its a small area with room for 2 large motorhomes at most. There is a picnic table, toilet and a sign saying "Joshua Morgan's Grave'. You can hear the gorge in the background which is nice. Very little traffic. Not noisy. Its ok for an overnight stop along the highway
