Short and easy walk with some lookouts.
Impressive waterfall. Perfect for a swim at the end of the walkway, at the bottom of the waterfall.

The track in the very nice bush is interesting, flat and with some explanations around the trees.
And at the end, impressive! Te Matua is majestic and very amazing.

You can do a few parts of the walk.
Very photogenic place. You mainly walk in the bush but many lookouts. Visiting the Sounds in the South Island is a must do.

Steep and hard walk, pretty long walk.
If there are not too many clouds then the view at the top is wonderful. Be ready to 'suffer'. But really great to do if you are around.

7 for the walk.
A long way along the beach, nice but the return walk is very, very long. Arrived at the end of the beach, up and very nice. And the colony with interesting explanations and a nice panoramic view.

How to be disappointed......
a wonderful walk! I advise to do the Ngauruhoe Summit. A little hard (50 minutes of steep and hard walk), just amazing. Just wahooo!
