I could recommend this operator for day trips only.
I took an extended trip and was concerned that the skipper (responsible for my safety) drank himself horizontal every evening.
That said, she's a lovely boat with above average standard of accomodation and facilities.

I've been out with Dive Tutukaka a number of times and have never had a bad days diving.
I am a reasonably experienced diver, so usually either arrive with my own buddy or get buddied with another lone diver. There are always enough guides on the boat to hand hold the less experienced divers so they have no need to team them up with expereinced customers. I've always been satisifed with their choice of buddy.
On the odd occassion I've felt the need for a guide they have listened carefully to my needs. My first dry suit dive I was assigned a guide with the same kind of dry suit as I had purchased to offer practical advice relevant to my needs rather than a standard guiding service.
I notice that someone thought the lunches were a little small - I've never come away hungry.
This is also the only operator I've used that routinely offer real coffee after the dive!
