We did this trip with Whale Watch Kaikoura in early March 2017.
Of our 3 week trip to the South Island, this was probably our favorite day! We saw sperm whales and orcas, HUNDREDS of flipping dusty dolphins that were nothing short of magical! In addition, a couple of sharks and some albatross came by. The staff was very nice, informative, and friendly. We had a beautiful day and I definitely recommend this tour.

Murchison Motorhome Park

We just completed a 3 week camping trip on the south island of New Zealand.
Murchison Motor Park was THE BEST campground we stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the private sites, to the shared herbs and veges, to the walk by the river. Their community kitchen was nicely supplied and everything was spotless. Wonderful bathrooms and showers. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

We rented the 720 Imala motorhome from Discover NZ for a 3 week tour of the South Island.
I highly recommend this company. The persons I worked with (Tony, David, and Lee) were all extremely nice, helpful and responsive. The camper was in great shape (like new), very clean, comfortable and drove great! Tony answered all my questions very quickly and was wonderful to work with. Total thumbs up!!!
