This place is OK for a night or two, close to the centre of Rotorua (15-20min walk).
The facilities are good but in need of cosmetic updating. The camping sites are in a completely shaded area so don't get any sun which can make it a bit colder than usual. Wifi is $5 a day per device though we didn't try it. Staff were nice.

What a place!
$37 a night for a powered campervan spot for two people in off season makes it one of the best value for money campsites we have stayed in. We got spot no. 1 right by the beach and so the view from the back of our campervan was the sea and beach, stunning spot. Staff were very friendly and helpful, facilities clean and abundant with lots of hot showers (free). Laundry was $4 each for washing and drying. The dryers have a proper 80 minute cycle so you know your stuff won't be damp at the end. Fresh water and dump site for grey water and sewage. Only thing I would improve is putting in some wifi, but the lack of it didn't bother us too much.

Nice place, felt safe especially as there were lots of other campervans there overnight.
Not the most scenic spot but free hot showers and toilets were a winner! As you come in, I recommend you turn right rather than left and park next to the pond in the numbered bays, it's a bit nicer. It was quiet and we slept very well, good place for one night.

Fantastic place to stay, in a great secluded location close to the town of Paihia and a 5 minute walk from Countdown supermarket.
We stayed for 3 nights on a powered site between the olive trees and by the duck pond. The owners/staff are so nice, accommodating and helpful. The showers and toilets are new and very clean. Hot showers are $2 for 5 minutes, washing machine and dryer are $4 each for a full cycle. The site has waste and grey water disposal as well as drinking water. Wifi is free and very fast, we could watch movies on Netflix with minimal interruptions. Can't fault this place, would definitely stay again, thank you for having us!
