Absolutely worst company to deal.

The tyres blew out immediately after hitting some small construction in South Island. We were charged by the auto services for tyre replacement.

Even after a phone call with the head of New Zealand Rent A Car, we were still told it was our fault for not buying "tyre insurance" and thus we were responsible.

The car we hired/rented was a piece of junk to begin with, well over 120,000km, a failed A/C (thankfully it was cool outside), and an awful interior that was well stained.

Wish we just paid a bit more and went with someone reputable.
