On first sight this camping ground looks average for a holiday park camping ground.
But it is not at all:
+ Super friendly manager or owner! Really one of the nicest persons I had the pleasure to meet.
+ Very spacious campsites
+ Just $10 for an unpowered site for 2 people (cheapest campsite we've been to!)
+ Kitchen with microwave, toaster, oven, sink with hot water...
+ Nice, although older, bathroom facilities
+ Everything clean
+ Long hot showers for $1
+ Cold laundry for $2
+ Paid but fast and not too expensive wifi by iks ($5 - 10gb - 24h)
+++++++ love it! +++++

Very scenic, drinking water, good, clean and non smelling toilets, cooking shelter/room with possibility to sit and eat inside and be safe of rain and wind, unfortunately no shower.
Price of $10 per person is perfectly OK for these facilities. In the end: Perfect for a trip to Mount Cook and to explore the valley.

Arrived late, nobody was in the office, self-registration was possible.
We stayed in a tent on the ground around the lodge for $20 for two people. There, you can use the facilities of the lodge. Kitchen + TV room is an extra $7.50 per person. Free hot shower. Free cold washing, no dryer but plenty of space to hang clothes.

Location is pretty nice.
The cruise itself is not out of the ordinary, but in the line with price. You see all the things you expect to see. For some reason they did not put on the heating in the ship. The information about Milford Sound given by the captain was sometimes hard to understand, because of the bad speakers. Some more information would also have been nice. The cruise was not able to get as close to some points as the little ship of the Mitre cruise but all in all it was worth the price.

We stayed in a cabin.
Really nice camping ground and cabins. Very clean. Recycling. Cutlery and plates etc. provided for free. Competitive pricing. Nice bathroom with hot showers. Long distance between kitchen and cabin. Hd bad (paid) wifi connection in room, which I personally find extremely annoying (also because I paid for it). Owner or staff at the reception not too friendly (not unfriendly though).

Track starts calm and fixed, but it gets more slippery and exposed the more you go up.
But it is totally worth it. When you are on the top keep on going to the edge (to the left side). There is an awesome landscape to see (you should also see the location of the filmset of Ismgard - the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings).
At least some mountain-experience is strongly recommended!

Went up to the summit and through a layer of clouds to reach the sunny peak.
Reminds me of the alpine version of Roy's Peak (a bit more demanding and more narrower path). Awesome and far views from the top. A cool and cheap activity for Queenstown! (Track be shortened via gondola).

Nice track, somewhat demanding, steep in parts but not exposed.
Awesome views around Wanaka and lake. Highly recommended!!

Stayed in a cabin in March.
Clean, friendly, FREE UNLIMITED WIFI (finally), free hot showers, free sauna and whirlpool (spa), short walk into town. Kitchen utensils can be rented for $5.

Big camping ground, can be slightly noisy.
Drinking water available. Next to a river, swimming possible. Facilities clean (considering size of campground). Unfortunately no shower. No tables or shelters! $7 per person.

Quiet, short track.
Somewhat steep but not exposed. Above the treeline we didn't continue the track to finish the loop but walked straight up hill following a path to a local peak with nice views.

Really clean and well working facilities.
$5 for wifi - which I can't even find in the shared kitchen, although on the campsite it seems to be good - seems a bit much to me. Rest is fine. The fact that a powered and and unpowered site don't differ in pricing seems not really fair to me.

The campground is very nice and taken care of.
At the moment fire is forbidden but the fireplaces and stations for BBQ are present. Showers and toilets are perfectly ok and the price of $6/person is more than fair!
