It was a great experience and I would recommend it if you don't mind paying about $250 for two dives.
The price is the only draw back.
All the gear was pretty good and only 3 people diving on our day so heaps of room on the boat, but I could see it getting crowded on a busy day and without the wheel house to get into to stay warm it might be a little chilli spending the whole trip outside.
The water is clear enough to see everything you need and where else will you see some deep water creatures?!?!

Definitely the way to see the Sound, and Rosco's run a god trip.
It is not flashy and don't expect any caviar and personalised dressing rooms. but I would recommend Rosco's! Blake was an excellent guide!
The craft were stable and easy to learn how to use.

A nice short walk, worth the 30 mins.

What a top walk!!
It is a pretty steep walk of about 75-85 mins uphill to the Lake which is in a Hanging valley. The first part is along a roaring river though and is worth doing that first board walk part if you only have moderate fitness.
Once you get to the lake you can sit down and relax and enjoy the view or go for a walk over to the disappearing waterfall, or go for a swim or do a lap of the lake (that might take a while).
The best part I thought was hearing and watching the avalanches fall at the lake...amazing. Leave yourself about 5 hours to do the walk, have a rest and explore the lake. If you are in a hurry you could get there and back in two and a half hours.
Watch out for the resident carpark Kea!
