I found this place so unbelievably gorgeous!
A 2 minute easy as track shows you around a pool of 'mud' where you hear and see the earth farting. Funny, smelly, beautiful and massively interesting. Must go!!

Great walk indeed!
The best part is in common with the Crossing, but Tama Lakes and Oturere Plain are totally worth the trip. Tranquility and the beauty of this track returned us one of the best experiences in the North Island. Do not miss the Ngauruhoe Summit.

On the top of the rocky cliffs, trees are half hanging in the air. Friendly birds wait on a few rocks close to the Cape.
