Took us 5.5 hours.
Some very rewarding views such as the Emerald Lakes. It is tough going down on the knees. I found going down harder than going up. Weather is also key as a cloudy day means you won't see any of the views.

Brilliant guide and instructor!
We did a grade 5 rafting which did not have much hard rapids but we did raft the highest commercial waterfall in the world which was amazing and something you can be proud to say you have done.

You can either choose to drive to the top or there are various points around the city that you can start from.
Can get a 360 degree view of Wellington. The walks can be slightly steep but not too difficult. If you can drive then drive as it isn't as good a view to walk it up.

The road to the Hole is 11km of gravel and holes and bumps, be aware!
The walk to the Hole is easy, however you cannot see in the hole, but still good to see. The lookout along the walk was better than the Hole, you get an amazing view. Just be careful of the rocks!

It is a tough walk but very rewarding when you get to the Cove.
Good to see a lifeguard present as a lot of waves. Plenty of space on the beach and some amazing scenic views.

It is free!
So you cannot really complain. There is a lot to see and learn and there is some outside viewing sections where you can see parts of Wellington.

The ferry was 3.5 hours so we did not book a cabin.
We found it quite expensive for the campervan and the 'free' WiFi never worked. It was also quite cold so bring a fleece or blanket. There are plugs to charge devices.

The walk is a bit long for the end result!
We got to the falls and realised we could have skipped the walk and parked at the falls. The falls are beautiful and good to see, but not so sure about the walk.

800 steps to walk to the lighthouse so not an overly difficult walk.
Worth walking up to see the view. Only downside is the gravel road to get to it.

We really enjoyed Kerosene Creek.
It is a free hot spring that you do not have to walk far to, but do be aware it is very hot! It is a nice place as well.

If you have never skydived - do it!
We did the 15,000 ft dive which I would recommend over the 12,000 ft as it happens so quickly so the longer the better. Had sore ears after but well worth it. The view was gorgeous!
Thanks for the review Natasha, sorry to hear about your ears!

Loved this activity!
We were the only two people doing it so we got lucky and got to do and see more than we should, but even in a group it is a must do! You float in dinghies, climb rocks, small waterfalls, jump in and of course see the glowworms!
