Sites by the creek are rather nice, and location just outside Blenheim is good.
We found owners friendly, and showers, toilets and laundry dated but fine. Kitchen on a cold night was crowded, soulless but adequate; we were much happier making breakfast on our own cooker on a sunny picnic table by the creek.

Lovely spot, now with toilet.
Couldn't find picnic tables, donation box or swimming spot though. Three or four shaded spots down a car track as well as the main grassy area.

Nice site and location.
Wi-fi was expensive, limited to one device, and didn't work.
Hello Helena, we're pleased that you felt our Park was worthy of a review.
You purchased wifi purely so you could "Clip" the Rankers 10% discount voucher which we honored without the voucher, therefore your wifi cost $2nzd for 10gb.. When choosing your non-powered site I advised you not to choose a site too far away from the amenities building as your wifi will be slow - you chose the furthermost site possible and then complained but you spent most of the night in the lounge & kitchen area.
Thank you again for your review and we hope that the rest of your holiday was enjoyable and you experienced far more budget friendly campgrounds.

Funny little site in a great location, right opposite the hot pools.
Not quite finished yet. Facilities endearingly basic (no kitchen or lounge, just a roof over a picnic table), and relatively low priced in an expensive town. Wi-fi didn't work, and no staff were around in the morning to trouble-shoot, but we enjoyed our stay.

Magnificent views. Free, with only a long-drop toilet. Road around to some sites is deeply rutted, so take care arriving.

Two campsites in one.
Otto's, where we stayed, is above a beach on the lake, and has flush toilets and washing-up sinks. You can swim in the lake. It was lovely.

Kitchen closes at 9pm and showers at 10pm, so don't plan to stay up late!

We had the place virtually to ourselves and loved it.
The lounge is huge, the kitchen would be small if it were busy, and the feel is delightful. Pay at the pub down the road and enjoy a relaxed stay at one end of the Old Ghost Road.
