The lake is beautiful and the mountains gorgeous.
Not far from the main road. Not much flat area for tents. Sandflies and mosquitos were just tolerable. No water and only a long drop, but for free you can't complain.

Trees provided nice little 'alcoves' to set your tent up, which gave more privacy.
Clean modern bathrooms. Close to bay & beautiful scenery. Friendly manager. Passes a farm where you can buy fresh farm milk, so take an empty bottle to fill up - delicious stuff! Cold showers.

Cheap place ($5 for 2 persons) that provided drinking water and flushing toilets.
Next to main road, so easy to find. Plenty of space to tent and close to the river for exploring and a swim. Hardly any sandflies or mosquitos. Can occasionally hear road traffic.

Next to the lake and main road.
Clean toilets. Was a peaceful spot and only occasionally heard traffic. No trouble from sand flies or mosquitos. There were many empty caravans parked and so didn't know where we were 'allowed' to put our tent. Water needs to be boiled before drinking and no showers/kitchen. At $10 per person we found it a bit expensive for what was provided.

Clean kitchen and bathroom, free BBQ and view of the lake.
Very expensive for tenting when you have to pay for showers, laundry and internet. Not much shade or privacy.
