Free walk of 8km, single way, so four hours return along the beach.
Nice landscapes, between ocean and cliffs (beware of the tide). The best is the colony of 10,000 gannets that we can see from a few metres.

An introduction to Maori Culture.
Very interesting. We have done the day and night tour with haka and lovely hangi. It is very touristic so not a real meeting with people, but it was great.

Impressive walk to see the Lady Knox Geyser, but mostly the crazy colours of pools and geysers.
It was definitely worth it, whatever the season ( we have been in winter too).

Nice walk of three days in the complete nature.
Very few people on the track and it was very quiet. Landscape was amazing! Only thing: some huts are not so great, we expected better for a great walk and for the price.

An amazing day doing the Tongariro Crossing!
Views of Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe are crazy (it was worth it to take one hour 30 minutes to the top of Tongariro). The official shuttle is a bit expensive ($30).
