My 5 year old and 7 year old had the most amazing time last weekend.

On an otherwise stormy day, we had a window of sunshine and Glen and Evan were ready and waiting at the wharf to take us out, just us with their beautiful black and yellow boat and the stunning scenery of the Bay. Both Glen and Evan were so brilliant with my children, helping them feel safe and excited and explaining everything very clearly. Up in the sky I couldn't believe how safe we felt - even though it was a pretty windy day - it was so peaceful (despite the constant excited chatter from Mr 5!) and felt just like sitting on a swing - on top of the world! Exhilarating and calming both at the same time. Don't even think twice about doing this if you're in Paihia. Even on a cloudy day, where better to be than high up in the clouds looking down on the Bay of Islands. Highly recommended from small children to grandparents. I was also grateful to Evan for taking great photos of us for me, using my phone.
