Not a very big campsite.
Crowded. Our spot for the night was next to the road. Facilities a bit old. The rubbish area was just overloaded with garbage!!! Convenient to drop off your rental vehicle.
Hi thank you for your comments but I think you have the incorrect holiday park. Our facilities were refurbished two years ago, our sights are not next to the road and the rubbish is collected twice a day. Plus we are on the far side of the city to the rental vehicle depots. We also have no record of your name in our computer booking system. Christchurch has been extremely busy this last month and I think all holiday parks would have been the same.

We found the campsite easily.
Nice spot to spend the night with the view on the beach. Waking up with the sunrise! Would recommend it!

Very clean, great modern facilities.
Laundry & dryer that work very well. Great BBQ area. Kea birds can be seen and are funny to watch. Perfect location to go hiking on Fox Glacier, and Lake Matheson. Will come back!

Expensive for its value.
Facilities a bit old. Someone threw our wet clothes out of the dryer on the floor and stole a t-shirt! Our baby girl's clothes were spread all over the ground! Seriously, who would do that?!

Beautiful free campsite on Lake Pukaki.
The road is not so easy to find and drive slowly with a motorhome. A lot of wind during the night, some people even left the campsite. But the view at sunset/sunrise on the Lake and the snowy Mount Cook make you forget the small amount of sleep we got because of the wind.

Great location at the entrance of the park.
We stayed one night before hiking. A lot of campers, not a very big site, but it wasn't noisy at all. Wifi & showers are not free.

Hector dolphins, birds, penguins, seals & amazing scenery! The crew was very professional & nice, great memories before our flight!
