It is not the longest drive for $4 one way up the hill but it is definitely worth it since you do not have to climb the hill.
On your way back you can wander through the Botanical Gardens and grab a coffee near the rose gardens - loved it!

Normally I like water and lakes but I was slightly disappointed in the Blue Lake.
It would have been enough just to drive to the Lake and look and learn.

It was amazing to see the filmset of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit but in the end it is just a filmset.
Since I really wanted to see it, I would pay the enormous price again.

Black Labyrinth: Adventurous walk through the caves for approximately two hours.
Amazing views of the glowworms (look like stars in the sky), but in the end my hands and feet were cold (uncomfortable). Price is a bit too high also.
