A great and comfortable journey over the New Zealand Alps. Open air carriage is perfect for taking photos. Not a cheap adventure though.

A nice walk along the cliffs of the Peninsula.
Easy access by car (the walk starts at the carpark). We saw seals, sea birds and a wonderful sunset!

Sailing around Lake Taupo, even with strong winds I felt really safe.
Maori carvings were beautiful! Crew was really friendly. We could play our own music on the boat's stereo.
