Well maintained walking track up a very steep mountain.
The views are absolutely stunning in the right weather conditions. The car park is way too small for a 6 hour track and the long drop toilet has not been cleaned for quite some time.

Beautiful track, big free caves but awful signage.
The three caves are hard to find, there are no signs showing the entry of a cave nor the way to the next one. Still a very beautiful walk with stunning views, glowworms picnic areas and three huge caves to explore.

Nice and clean facilities, reasonably priced for a private hot pool.
If you don't mind sharing I would recommend Otamahehe Stream in Taupo. Some hot water for free out in nature.

Beautiful conservation effort.
Worth every penny because you get to go two days in a row and help finance a worth while operation. You can watch heaps of native birds and get to know them very well. Lots of stunning walks, free tours and feeding shows.

The track is not well maintained and there are lots of trip hazards except the final past 'the bird walk' which is in decent condition.
Beautiful look over Whakatane and the surroundings. Lots of native birds on the last part of the walk.
