Nice fields to practice this sport also. Remember to take your own clothes to ski as there is none to rent there. Don't make the same mistake as us.

We went for a ride and then walked through the beaches.
We couldn't see the penguins but if you go at 6.00am or at sunset you could see them. Nice peninsula full of birds. We saw some albatross.

Really nice park, we didn't do the three day walk but enjoyed the nice beaches.
Maybe too many people in summer. Would be nice to rent a kayak.

It was really disappointing to see how the glacier is disappearing.
The walk is very short but what you get to see is sad. It left me thinking of what we should do to help prevent the melting.

Amazing place, specially due to the lovely welcome from Don.
But also because it's at the edge of a beautiful river and you have everything you need, and it's tidy and clean. Don also offered vegetables from his garden to us! A place to take care of and respect. More than grateful :) nice to know there is people like Don in this world!

Nice park with many black swans and huge lake.
We went in autumn so there were beautiful colours due to the trees. The falls weren't the best. Not wild.

Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura

The experience was amazing.
We wanted to swim with them but there was no more space. We watched and it was a special day. We saw four dolphins, something uncommon on this activity. But the boat went lots of times after the dolphins when it was enough. For us it was time to leave them alone.

Beautiful track and really isolated.
We did it in winter and the snow came through to our knees. Amazing experience, especially when you get to the lake.
