Absolutely gorgeous campsite.
Absolutely gorgeous campsite. Quiet, peaceful, lovely swimming hole. Ducks came to visit us for food, amazing. Woke to the sound of birdsong. Very clean and tidy. Internet kiosk. Twenty dollars for two people per night unpowered. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend you stay here, even the older couple we met from England said it was the best site they had stayed at. Five minute drive to centre of Nelson. Check out Stefano's Italian Pizza in Nelson for real pizza.

Amazing place to stay.
Wonderful hosts. Whitebait fritter sandwich was awesome. Very clean and very welcoming. Highly recommended - twenty dollars for two people, unpowered site plenty of space. Awesome view of the Buller Gorge. Yes there are sandflies, just use repellant. Camping here was so peaceful, close to road but no traffic noise. Wish we had time to stay longer.
