The sites were pretty close together.
We were chomped by sandflies and couldn't enjoy eating dinner outside. The kitchen was small, but not busy. The showers and toilets are private with hot water. The WiFi was horrible and the passwords we were given were all used already. The lady at the desk didn't seem to have a solution so she kept giving us passwords that were already used. It was frustrating. The park is really close to the glow worms which is nice.
I understand your frustration and was doing my best, we have since changed out wifi provider

The facilities were my favorite part.
The bathrooms are the cleanest ones I found in NZ and they were never busy. The kitchen has a ton of tools to use to make whatever you want and has a large dining area. They have two cute dogs roaming around. The owner is nice and gave us some ideas for what to do in town. Methven doesn't have a lot happening in the summer, but it was a great place to stay to relax on our trip before going to Christchurch.
Thank you for your kind review, we appreciate you taking the time and look forward to seeing you again some time.

We didn't get there early enough for the spa and pool to still be open, but I heard good things about them from others staying.
The sites are smaller and not very private. The kitchen is huge. The showers and toilets are clean and had warm water. It was in a good location to walk into town.

We loved this holiday park.
It was clean and the owners were wonderful. They suggested we go to Waitarere Beach and we wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Each site is lined by hedgerows. They have clean private showers with hot water and a clean kitchen. Levin is a great little town to get away from the tourists and enjoy a a day at the beach. Perfect park to stay and relax.
Awesome.

The park and facilities were clean and the kitchen was large enough for at least four other families to cook.
The showers weren't hot and the sites were smaller than other places we stayed. It was fine with a camper van because we had curtains, but it seemed pretty open for anyone in a tent.
Thanks for your review Mallory Lopez!

The park was more expensive than what we found elsewhere through NZ, but the location is great.
It's walking distance to everything in downtown Wellie. The private toilets and showers are clean and have hot water. It's the perfect place to stay if you're catching the ferry the next day. It's less than 5 minutes to the Bluebridge ferry. They don't have a kitchen or laundry facility. It's very basic but convenient. You are paying to park in a lot with a power outlet and toilet/shower.

This place was the most expensive park we stayed in NZ.
($55 for two people/night). We stayed for three nights mid-February. It was sold out every night and completely packed. The sites are very small. We had a camper van and there were random people camping in tents against our van. We weren't sure if they were actually supposed to be there or just crashing. It's full of partiers and never really gets quiet. The bathrooms were clean in the morning, but if you go in after 9 PM don't be surprised if they look like toilets in a dive bar. The place was a mess after 9 pm. The kitchen was large enough and clean. The showers were hot but I had to wait every morning to shower. The front desk can book most things for you which makes staying there very convenient. It was just like staying in Cancun on spring break. If you don't mind that scene, you'll enjoy it.

Oamaru was perfect.
Great place to get away from the tourists. The park is the best one we found. Ask for site #1 because it's directly across from the water with beautiful views. They have small unisex showers so they can get busy in the morning. The water is hot, though. At night the penguins come back from feeding and bobble around the campsites. They're loud, but adorable.
The park is walking distance to the penguin colony conservatory, the downtown area, and a delicious brewery. Overall, this place was perfect. I will definitely stay there again.

The facilities were nice.
There is a large kitchen, a bar, hot spring pool, and warm showers. The campsite was a muddy grassy area and lacked personality. We stayed at places with better campsites. The facilities make it a pretty decent place, though.

The park seemed odd when we first showed up.
It's a parking lot behind a gas station. We stayed one night at a powered site and it was nice. Great location to walk into town. Not somewhere to stay if you're in a tent because it's all cement. The park was quiet. They had the best WiFi we found throughout NZ. They have 3 private $2 showers and only one toilet.
