Feel we must have been in a parallel universe.
Greeting we got was the unfriendliest of the lot. Sites were a choice between an uneven damp bit by the river (plus sandflies etc.) or near the road, which was noisy. Really don't understand why people rate this one so highly. On the way back we went to the Murchison Motorhome Park ,which was infinitely better.

It's a big well-run camp right next to the beach, so it wins for convenience.
Showers are ok, although I do get fed up with paying for showers - just ask me for $2 more when I check in!!!! You are packed in fairly close together, but it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Supermarket right next door was handy.

Huge campsite with very few people actually there.
Gets a major plus for the beach, which is just a few minutes away. Showers, however, were crap.

Excellent service on pickup and delivery.
Camper worked well and GPS / Wifi was a welcome bonus. Only complaint is that the description is misleading - they said the Ultima Plus was for two adults and a child - I would argue it was for two small adults and a virtual child.

Place looked a bit dead as we arrived, but was actually just what we wanted.
Friendly owner, shops etc. nearby, clean showers and nice and quiet.

Location gets 10/10 - this is the sort of place that makes renting a camper wagon a good idea.
Man at check-in was very helpful and friendly. Only reason for not giving a 10 is that showers are a wee bit chilly and there are no powered sites. But the views are to die for. Dump site is just across the bridge.

Very friendly and helpful owner.
Best showers we came across. At last a shower designer, who realised that the shower should become wet, but not the bit outside where you dry yourself. I would give this a 10 if my Wifi had worked (no 'phone signal here) and there were no sandflies. These tiny little b******s ruin your life - when you hit the West Coast take lots of Deet and lots of anti-itch stuff.
