Really cool spot and very easy access.
Best once it is completely dark out. Do everyone else a favor and learn your camera functions before you go and avoid using the flash (it ruins your photograph and annoys everyone else).

Unbelievable!
When we talk to friends and family at home, we always mention the Rankers Koha. Wifi, swimming hole, power, super friendly, what more could you want? 2 year old son picked strawberries with the caretaker. Amazing.

This is a decent place in a great location *close* to the trail to the beach (not even close to being on the beach).
If it wasn't for the great location, I would have rated it much lower because of the dated and dingy facilities.
Thank you for your response. As already stated ALL our advertising states we are "the closest camp" to the beach and a 20 min walk is required. The camp and its facilities are only 5 years old it is the sea air which causes things to not "look" pristine like a camp in a city. I can assure you the camp is we maintained and over winter is "freshened" up for summer.

Very dingy facilities. Overcrowded in the facilities themselves when they are busy. Sites themselves are boring.

Excellent spot.
Bit of a drive in but worth it. Was a shame it was rainy and very windy. Could have been epic on a calm, sunny day when the surfing was good.

Facilities mediocre and atmosphere totally lacking. Powered site was nothing more than a paved parking space.

Facilities are outstanding and well maintained.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The setting is exquisite, nestled between the river and the mountains. Plenty of space. This was an especially good stop with a baby.
