Clean and tidy, beautiful spot with a handy supermarket opposite and close enough to the town (1 mile) to stroll for a meal.
There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers, so sometimes there is a little queue!
Thank you for your nice review

Even in the pouring rain we enjoyed this walk and the BIG trees are really impressive!
Fantails are very brave and come close.

Beautiful, peaceful, with easy access to the river.
Large open area, free showers, clean flushing toilets and two swings. A good relaxing stop after the excitement of the Buller River!

Fabulous site, free kayaks, fishing, and nicely laid out pitches.
Lovely showers, hairdryer and power on all pitches. Town amenities are not far away and the lake is a short walk away. We would definitely come back again.

Brilliant fun, and skipper Mark was great - skillful, knowledgeable and a good laugh.
Prepare to get wet (we got soaked! - thanks Mark ;) but it adds to the fun and was exciting. V8 Chevvy motor delivered the goods with fantastic speed and Mark used his knowledge of the river to the best effect. We were also lucky to see a huge wild brown trout, wild goats and a big hawk being scared off by a super-fast swooping falcon - and all the time being entertained by great driving, and lots of interesting tales about the local area. Fab-u-lous!!
Thanks Mark for the great review was great to have you on board and your right its a jungle out there some days Cheers Mark
