Beautiful campground with a big lake you can swim in!
Clean flush toilets and wash facilities. Worth the 6km gravel road! But a lot of sandflies and bumblebees :(

This campsite has the nicest showers ever!!
Good pressure, different stands and nice warmth! And if that's not enough, all the bathrooms are self contained and they look brand new! Normally only staying at DOC sites but came here for a shower and came back after a few days, because the facilities are so good. Only $17 per person for unpowered!

Nice campground with beautiful views over the lake!
Sheltered and separate sites in the forest. 2 long drop toilets, but they were so full that it smelled like 3 whales died in there, so couldn't really use them.

All the people were really nice and $15 per person for an unpowered site.
Really nice view of the mountains! The kitchen had several stoves, oven, microwave and boiler. Not a lot of cutlery. Laundry and iron were free! Showers had good pressure and all the facilities were clean and quiet! Really recommend staying here, only a 15 minute drive to Dunedin and supermarkets were 1 minute away.

Nice big caves on the beach.
Had to walk through kneehigh water to get to the end of the cave. Nice to see but stupid that we have to pay $5 per person to see some nature on the beach. Make sure to walk past the first one because there are like 4 more!

A-MA-ZING!
You can watch the dolphins from very close and even swim between them! They're not scared at all, really lovely. Although the water is freezing cold... But really worth it, and free!

Nice and short walk to the most southern part of New Zealand!
The distance to the South Pole and the equator are pointed, so you can make fun photos with that. The landscape around is really beautiful!

Most beautiful campsite we have been to.
Next to a nice beach with sea lions!! Such an amazing view! The toilets were clean but no toilet paper. The drive is long and on gravel but it is really worth it! Doesn't have a shower or WiFi as said in the app of course.

Beautiful place to stay!
There were 2 changing rooms with toilet and a cold shower outside. 1 minute walk to the beach with a lot of surfers! The taps were really small so couldn't really fill my bottles there.

Really nice view but super windy!
Clean toilets with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Couldn't find a tap so bring your own water. Nice place to stay in a van or motorhome!

This campsite has a bathroom with flush toilets and a 'kitchen' with taps, which is nice!
But no nice views and a lot of bugs!! It was very quiet, so we could sleep well.

Short walk to Lake Wilkie.
Not really special, but nice New Zealand nature. Fun to do if you have a lot of time.
