A great experience from start to finish.
The lodge location is stunning, the guides (Tom and Derek) were fun but professional. The rafting was just fantastic - the Rangitieki and surrounds are spectacular and the rapids were great fun. Friendly vibe and great food!

Stunning forest setting with amazing giant Redwoods.
Great views out across Rotorua (if you climb the hill!). Good facilities, information and walks. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A bit pricey but definitely worth the money.
There was a lot of varied and interesting features to see. Try to avoid tours buses if possible! Nice thermal pool near the entrance for a quick dip.

See the glowworms and caves was fantastic (especially the boat ride).
The guide was good but the trip was let down by the huge group size and number of people in the cave in general.

Nice little cafe in the forest near the bridge.
Serves good coffee and great snacks. Starting point for some nice walks through the forest. Interesting information about the endangered bats in the area. The campsite and facilities also looked excellent.
