Fantastic campground.
Quiet, small, and scenic. The lawns were nicely mowed, the showers hot and clean, the washer was free and the dryer was reasonably priced, the kitchen was clean and had pots provided. I stayed here early in my trip which at the time I did not realize how special this campground was with the level of maintenance and care given by the very friendly owners. They responded quickly with my booking emails and questions about their adventures. The campground is inclusive in pricing - wifi, showers, and washer are all covered. All sites are by the river. Really a fantastic campground which is a hidden gem. Don't let the bridge keep you from this really special location and experience. Loved it. Also look into their Scenic Float which is an absolute delight with stunning scenery, gentle water, and delicious lunch. Great lawns to play on if you have kids. Highly recommend this campground and the adventures offered.

I had the pleasure of taking the Grand Canyon Scenic Float in October 2015.
It was the best trip of my visit. Relaxing, breathtaking scenery, peaceful float through canyons with surprises around every bend in the gentle river. The guide, Dean, was knowledgeable and entertained us with humorous stories of local and international rafting adventures. The lunch was fantastic, introducing me to the addition of beets as a condiment for sandwiches. Fresh and tasty. There are added surprises that you will discover on the float that add even more wonder to this spectacular section of the river (you will have to take the trip to find out what they are). I highly recommend this trip and others by this company. I stayed in the Awastone Campground which was exceptionally clean, fantastic location next to the river and canyon walls.
Thanks Darlene - it was great to meet you and Im glad it all worked out...
