Nice, but one of the bigger campsites.
We phoned before and they wanted to make the booking by credit card directly for guaranteeing the spot (funny that it was not full at all this night!) Next time I would drive a bit further to the next bay, where you also can rent kayaks...

Such a nice place!
We spent Christmas 2015 there. It was lovely. Everything so clean and dishes and all your kitchen equipment provided. Perfect starting point for New Chums Beach.

Piha is a great spot with fantastic beach.
From the campsite it's just 2 minutes to the beach, you can actually see it and of course Lion Rock. The restroom situation is not the best, but keep the water shortage there in mind. We would come again!

Great spot, directly at the beach.
Wonderful view! Expensive but with good weather worth it. Swimming in the sea though was not so nice, due to many algae and some biting insect in the loose sand - but definitely not the responsibility of the campsite :-)

Very friendly staff, guides you to your spot.
We stayed just before Christmas 2015 with the campervan and got one of the spots direct at the lake front - beautiful view :-) $15 per person was a good deal, as shower and WIFI included.
