An excellent campsite in a great native bush setting.
There are several resident Weka that regularly patrol the kitchen and campsites. Extremely well maintained grounds and very clean and tidy camp kitchen. Wifi and mobile reception is possible even though the campsite is a couple of kms from Moana. The showers and toilets are unisex and this could be an issue in peak times. A campsite I will definitely return to in the future.

Hanmer Springs TOP 10 Holiday Park

The main attraction to this Holiday Park is its location just minutes walk from the Hot Pools and the centre of town.
The park has a good range of facilities but the site feels congested and not very appealing. The price for an unpowered site is $19 per night per person which seems excessive.
I like the setting of Hanmer and often visit the Hot Pools but will most likely look for an alternative place to camp in the future.
