My wife and I rented two Subaru Outbacks from Teddy during our 3 month stay in New Zealand.
We found Teddy a pleasure to deal with, he was friendly, helpful and always responded straight away to the many questions we asked him.
Both cars were very reliable, clean inside and out and never gave us any trouble. Teddy even offered us the use of a cool box, flask, cups and folding chairs.
I would recommend anyone looking to hire a vehicle in Christchurch to give Anzed Rentals a call. Next time I need to hire in Christchurch I would not hesitate to call him.
Well done Teddy, it's a 10 from me.

Excellent little site, only room for five or six campervans.
A small kitchen, two individual shower rooms with toilet and sink in each and one separate toilet, all practically new and spotlessly clean. Free wifi, very friendly and helpful host. Great view, Perfect for a few nights.

Our first score of 10 after a month touring the North Island.
I can't fault this site, $38 for a powered site for 2, free showers plus 500 MB of wifi each included. The pitches are large, ours had a picnic bench and shrubs between the other pitch, the toilets and showers are modern and clean the kitchen and common areas are also clean, and well designed, I could go on. Highly recommend well worth a visit, oh and a 10 minute walk to 90 Mile Beach.

This is my wife and I's fourth week touring the North Island in a campervan and I'm sorry to say this is my first review.
Having paid $38 plus $2 for wifi and $1 each for showers In my opinion this site is so far the worst value for money we have stayed at. I only wish I had walked around and checked the facilities before checking in, I would highly recommend anyone staying here do this first. As previously stated the site is mainly taken up by permanent caravans, We chose a pitch in front of the toilets/kitchen area not realising we would have static caravans on three other sides. Other than that I have to say the common area is untidy and the toilet/shower blocks could do with a good clean. It is however close to a lovely beach. Sorry to say I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a fantastic site in a great location, my wife and I stayed for one night in November 2016 on our way back from Cape Reinga and really enjoyed it.
We managed the gravel road fine in our camper, it was well worth it. The only fly in the ointment (other than the sandflies) was a very unpleasant (in my opinion) couple who didn't park in the campervan area but instead parked their large motor home up on the hill overlooking everyone. My wife noticed the female, quite sneakily taking registration numbers of vehicles parked in the campervan area during the evening. When challenged it became clear she intended to pass registration numbers to the DOC to see who hadn't paid. Who knows if she would or not, however I found it intimidating, and I'm sure I am not the only one. I do regret not taking the registration number of their vehicle and passing it to Department of Conservation myself. I am sure this is not what the DOC expect from their members.
