A family run business, with personal attention.
Good price-quality ratio. For travellers from abroad very nice to stay the night at the family's B&B in Rotorua, before taking to the road. Choice between new and used Campervans.

Lovely atmosphere on a lovely location.
Many thing to do and to see within 30 minutes, e.g. Farewell Spit and Tasman National Park. Cosy little village. Basic facilities and at the moment a bit dated, but will be refurbished by 2016. Friendly and very helpfull managers.
Thanks Martin!, great review for us!, yes the revamp is looming we cant wait! we hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!
catch you again another time we hope
kind regards

As there is no competition in Wellington (three campsites, all expensive and little to offer) you can't really blame them.
On a parking lot opposite the Motel, with two toilets and two showers for men and the same for women, and a overcrowded kitchen, you don't get much for your money.

Very near the ferry, but also very near the busy road.
Absolutely nothing but tarmac. The outermost camper is 10 metres away from the traffic-lights. Is this the best Wellington has to offer. The shops and restaurants deserve a better campsite, some campers might consider spending more than one sleepless night in Wellington.
