This is an Auckland Regional Council park so if you are camping in a number of ARC parks then I recommend you buy the annual pass.
It has a large number of sites and lots of trees. Long drop toilets, fresh water and a campfire area where you can light a fire. Only negative is you can hear some road noise. Some beautiful views from the clifftop walk.

Very quiet and peaceful site.
Well maintained and lawn was mowed. Long drop toilets very clean. You can drink the water. 5 minute walk down to the beach. Seaviews and lots of bird life. Sheep are on the surrounding farm.
