Nice camping close to Sandspit Wharf.
Seems to be really big but was not so busy when we where there. Too bad the Pioneer Village is not looked after because it looks really nice.

This is one of the nicest camp grounds we stayed at, too bad that all the facilities are getting old and are not looked after well.
The location is nice though, easy to get from the State Highway10 but very quiet and very nice grounds. Owner is a funny guy aswell.

Very big camping ground with a lot of fixed caravans.
We only slept here so this was no problem for us, we only needed a place for the car and a oven for the pizza. Showers a little too basic, especially because they are 50 cents.

Nice location to see kiwi but it was a bit to busy in the forest so we only heard them.

Nice camping in a quiet location.
Toilets and showers pretty good and also a nice kitchen, very friendly staff. Perfect location when you want to do the Crossing!

When we were there it was really empty, so nice and quiet.
Buildings are quite big so there is a lot of room for a lot of people. Nice cooking facilities and the (50 cent) showers are awesome.
