Clean, very large facility.
Workers not friendly at all. Noisy with a school group in the bunk room. Bit awkward with some permanent/lived in sites. Good sized camper sites with BBQ table. Airplanes overhead. Great location for dropping off our camper.
Hi Helen - thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. Our staff are all extremely friendly as well as our permanent campers. I hope you enjoyed your trip around NZ

Ah-mazing.
Free, use of their toilets. Must have dinner in the pub - sit outside if it's nice weather, very yummy food. Beautiful scenery looking to the mountains beyond the house/pub. We went for an early dinner and didn't roll back to the camper until about 1am!! Thanks Corrina!! You were amazing!! (Helen and Neil, the Newlyweds) :-D xx

Very expensive (though what isn't in Qeenstown).
Lovely shower. Cute setting. Poor kitchen (4 burners only). Somewhat friendly staff. Very, very close to town, leisurely stroll.

Very old cabins.
Showers/toilets could be cleaner. Little expensive for what you got.

Not very close to town.
Very clean facilities and helpful person in office. 'Awkward' site.
Hi Helen.
We are located about 20mins walk from town, it is a nice little walk.
I am unsure about what you mean by "awkward" site.
Thank you for taking time to share your experience, I hope you had a great holiday!

Fine for one night.
Has everything you need. Very old and run down. Permanent residents here, strange, but keep to yourself and they will too. Marie (staff) very friendly and helpful. If you are used to creature comforts/flash abodes, don't go here. Was Cup Week, right below (literally) Addington Racecourse stands) and was all that was available. $34 powered site per night (2 adults). 25 minute walk to edge of town.

Brilliant spot to shelter from the wind.
Showers etc, spotless. Hot and no trouble with mine warming up.

Lovely wee park.
Superb facilities - would have been a 10 if I hadn't had to squabble with front of house lady after washer/dryer eating our $. Lots of ducks, walkway with bridge and reserve bordering it - wouldn't have been overly comfortable if had kids with us on that side of the park.
Thank you for your feedback. Its great our facilities meet your needs and I hope you were able to enjoy the Ross Creek walking tracks. It can be tricky having young children near the stream but we do have other areas of the park if parents are concerned. I am very sorry you had a disagreement with staff during your stay. If you still have concerns regarding this please feel free to email the owners to discuss. We hope you come and stay with us during your next visit to Dunedin.

Best place we stayed in, free or otherwise.
10 minutes south of Oamaru. Perfect base for the Vintage Fete. Clean toilets. Sea lions(?) or a VERY large seal on the beach. Parking lot with plenty of grass near cliff overlooking beach. Easy drive to it. Felt very safe. Flying Kiwi tour bus was there one night with about 20 tents (didn't realise this was allowed) - were noisy until rather late that night.
Note - not very obvious donations box behind you if facing the water - look for green posts. We would have missed it if hadn't seen someone else depositing $ there. Could do with a sign. Beautiful spot - parallel park on verge of driveway - opposite the $ box - pretty flat there and great vantage point for sunrise :-)
