Really easy to find.
The place is right next to the exit of the motorway, the 'Dry Creek Valley' is also advertised. At 8pm a cool ranger came who collected from each camper the money. The toilets were really far away, but the way there was really nice and you could also collect some blackberries there.

It is a really nice place and was also not hard to find in my opinion.
Was just a little scary because we arrived late and we were then the only ones there. There track was muddy and slippery by the rain - for large vehicles it is definitely not recommended.

One of the most beautiful campsites in New Zealand!
The site is directly behind the dunes of a great beach where the swimming is really fun. Toilets were nice, but a bit dark and drinking water was also available.

For one night it is perfectly adequate.
The car park is beautifully located on a river and ample seating there as well. However, it was really annoying at night that constantly trains went past who then also still honked as they drove into the village. There is a public toilet, but this was really disgusting and has closed at night.

The campsite is located directly on the street, so the traffic is accordingly loud at night, otherwise the space is sufficient for one night.
There is no proper seating. There are toilets, but these are from 9pm closed.

Beautiful place to stay for one night.
It's quiet and private. There's a bench with table under a tree. But there's only an outhouse so I prefer the nature.
