On our way up north, stayed with our campervan one night.
Had a very pleasant and friendly welcome, could choose the powered site on our own. Facilities in very good shape (kitchen, bathrooms, entire park). Next to the Kauri Museum that is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend, one of the best & chilly sites we saw during our stay in NZL...

Waitomo TOP 10 Holiday Park

Once visiting the caves, we decided to stay at the Top 10 holiday park.
To start with the good, it's perfectly located to do the caves. Once we arrived, they asked twice if we don't want to join the Top 10 club. We declined and they charged us $54 for 2 adults, powered site. Record during our stay in NZL. If you charge premium, you should deliver premium. Sorry, that by far was not the case. Site was uneven, our campervan was significantly out of balance. Site very crowded, took some time to get a sink to wash our dishes. My wife's shower did not work properly, little water only that was either cold or hot. Would not go there again...
