Quiet beach town off the main road.
Has a toilet block and $2 showers. The site itself was $10 for the convenience of power, less without. Well looked after and very friendly wardens. The town itself has a nice park for families but not much else, we loved the simplicity. We went for a jog up the road and locals were very friendly. Not a swimming beach as there was no sand on the beach, it had a lot of rocks. Good for a safe and quiet night's stopover.

Free over night parking and it's in the city, incredibly thankful to have found this spot.
Situated on the marina, beautiful view from the car park. A very generous amount of car parks for all sized self contained vehicles. Toilet facilities are a 2 minute walk from the designated area, also located in the car park. They are locked at night, hence for self contained vehicles only. A little noisy from the air traffic and the road, but hey you're in a city it's expected. Great costal walking/running track that takes you to the city (a few km's if you're fit).

A great car park with a generous amount of designated camping spots (over 5).
We were the only camper van here and found it incredibly peaceful. A busy local swimming and fishing hangout, the locals being polite and friendly. The car park is clean, rubbish was collected early in the morning by local council. The beach is at your doorstep and is beautiful. A fish and chip shop and launderette was conveniently within 2 minutes walk. If you needed anything, they had it. Toilets were clean, cold shower however. Self contained vehicles only, like ourselves.

What a view this park has to offer to say the least.
Breath taking at sunset and just as magical at sunrise with views of the marina. Very clean, incredibly friendly staff and owners. Great facilities with no shortage of showers and toilets. The park has coin operated washing machines and dryers. Bike hire available, BBQ and great kitchenette. The park is right above the marina. It's is a pleasant 1.5km walk along the boardwalk into the city centre, you can walk further as we did. The marina is great for an evening walk or to watch the locals fish. There are also a few cafes and restaurants at the marina, dinner being a five minute walk away. Stay there, it's great.
Thank you for your review
We love our view too!

Great spot in a car park on a very quiet, pristine beach.
Male and female toilet; 3 toilets and a cold shower in each. Excellent facilities to get rid of rubbish, including many recycling bins. A large play ground is situated beside the 2 designated parks. A general store operates directly across the road.
Mostly occupied by locals, who were present and a little too friendly (one coming into our van). There are picnic tables that offer excellent beach views. We used the beach to run on and some people were fishing. There are only 2 designated spots for self contained only. There were other motor homes and non self contained vehicles that camped in spots that weren't allocated. I find that quite disrespectful personally and hope in future they get fined. It was a busy car park and due to motor vans taking up non designated spots, people had no room to park. If you do intend on camping there come at 5pm and grab one of the two available spots, you won't regret it.
