Lovely campground with flat grassy spots, close to town.
Nice & clean facilities including kitchen (bring your own kitchen equipment), free hot showers, dining and TV room, bbq area, playground, trampoline and even a swimming pool. Owners were really friendly and helpful. $19 for a non-powered site, $4 per washing machine and WiFi for $2/250MB, $5/1GB at the time of our stay. All in all worth a visit.
Thank you for your comments. We do have great facilities for those camping in the park. $19 is our off season rate, with many campers and travellers taking advantage of these low rates.

Great holiday park!
Stayed there for 1 night on a non-powered site, $21 per person. Excellent and clean facilities including kitchen, dining room, TV room, games room, laundry ($3 per machine) and drying room which came in really handy as we had just returned wet and soaked from the Whanganui Journey. Shower and toilet block was newly renovated with heated towel rails, heat lamps in all shower cubicles, and hair dryers. WiFi & spa bath for additional costs. Definitely to recommend despite the higher price.
Thank you for the fantastic feedback Janin. We are glad you enjoyed your time her in Ohakune and hope to see you again soon. To save on costs we do offer a TOP 10 clubcard which gives you savings at 50 TOP 10 Parks all over NZ and additional discounts at restaurants, cafes and activities.

Busy campground with kitchen (bring your own cooking equipment), nice hot showers (no extra costs) and laundry.
Good value for $10 per person for a non-powered site. Probably the best priced camping opportunity around Wellington if you don't travel fully self-contained.

Nice campground with a personal touch and kids playground, $15 for a non-powered spot per vehicle/night.
Facilities (toilets, shower, little kitchen) are old, but were clean as we stayed there. Can't say that the owner was unfriendly. He just seems to be a typical NZ bloke living in the countryside, a little rough and likes to do his own thing, but otherwise friendly.
