This is just a perfect spot for you if you've booked only the transport to/from Tangariro Crossing from one of the nearby Lodges like we did (Discovery Lodge is only 15 minutes away).

The picnic-area adjacent to the carpark and shelter with tables and a little creek is simple but lovely in the evening sun! Even during the busy season between Christmas & New Year there was no other campervan and we arrived late (6pm). Self-contained only!
