One of the dirtiest and badly maintained kitchens in my entire trip, perhaps due to the many working holiday residents.
Broken chairs, smelly oven etc, I just couldn't stand another minute in it. The OK point is free hot water with good pressure (though someone soaked their clothes in the sink!). In contrary to the previous review, manager was pretty friendly and suggested us several walks around the place.

The previous reviews are right.
Their toilet is bad, not even a proper building, all females and males shared two (or three) shower rooms and 2 toilets, very busy and had to wait in the morning. The place is very strategic for penguin watching though. The little creatures crawl up to all places nearby, they travel through the carpark (yes, it's a car-park like bitumen sealed ground no privacy place), at dawn and dusk, very cute, but they can be very noisy. Kitchen has basic equipment, clean and spacious. Free hot water with good pressure.

No kidding with the 5-stars toilet, modern design, brightly lit, warmly heated, with hair dryer.
I would come back for the toilet!! Clean and well kept place, high hedge provides privacy. Clean kitchen with some pans, have both indoor and outdoor dining place which is nice but would be better if we had not seen spider webs on those tables. Not so much of view to speak of. We saw owner chase people out from the kitchen, perhaps that's cleaning hours.

Visited in late November 2015.
Arrived late and did the self check-in. We were a bit lost and not sure where to park as there are so many permanent cabins, dark at night and messy layout. Rather expensive ($21). Free hot shower, good pressure, basic but spacious toilet, reasonable clean and big kitchen providing limited cooking utensils, microwave, kettle and toaster.

One of the most expensive parks, but a quiet alternative to the overcrowded Mt.Cook Village.
Great view, walkable to the bed of Lake Pukaki, surrounded by mountains, Mt. Cook is viewable on clear day, spotted a pair of pheasants and many wild rabbits, clean and comfy big kitchen and communal area (my favourite of all parks I have been to), 3 (or 4) shower rooms with great free hot water and good pressure, but have to wait a bit during peak shower hours. Free and easy camping ground, get to pick a spot we like. Despite the high price, pots, plates and cooking utensils are not provided for free so we still can't cook much with only microwave and stove tops.

Spent our night here before heading to Christchurch, good value.
Clean and well equipped kitchen, pots and (fresh) herbs provided for free, high hedge provides privacy, parked our vehicle in the woods waking up to birds chirping, clean toilet, free hot shower, good water pressure, hair dyer provided with no charge, free wifi available in the cafe next door.
