Good warm shower, bit tricky with the pushing during showering but good idea.

Stayed there for a night...
wish I had more time spent there.... clean long drops, free cold shower, bonfire places, an awesome beach. Waking up and seeing the ocean is one of the greatest things :)
Would come back if in NZ again.

No toilet paper and the rubbish bins were overloaded.
Only one shower. $21 for a powered site for one person. OK for a stop over after Waitomo Caves.

Good facilities in the middle of nowhere...
very friendly and helpful host... she gives a lot of information about the area. Close to Edoras/Mt Sunday. Only a little bit expensive..... paid $35 in the middle of October for a powered site for a campervan and one person.

Close to the town center, free hot shower, hot pools on the campsite, mud pool.
$37 for powered site for one person... and it wasn't peak season.... but the woman at the office tried to explain that it is.... got a little discount after it but even with that the most expensive place I stayed on both islands.
Thank you for taking the time to write about our park. I unfortunately can not comment on this as I am only new, but we have been trying to keep our prices competitive with the other parks, and it looks like we slipped up here.
We hope that this did not put a damper on your holiday, and if you come back to New Zealand, you will give us the chance to make up for our error in pricing. Regards Trish
