Researching for a travel guide and having visited many Maori operators I want to say that this was one of the best Maori cultural tours I have experienced.

Three main aspects of the tour made my experience a special one:

1) Personal and intimate (family business, small groups, welcomed at family home)

2) interactive (interaction with visitors in powhiri, song, harakeke weaving, tea tasting etc.)

3) inclusion of regional and tribal characteristics in general Maori experience
