We chose the Grade 3 and it was not that adventurous.
If you like action, you definitely have to take the Grade 5. All in all it was a nice experience but I have definitely done better rafting before. Do the 2pm trip, then you can jump from a waterfall, that's great!

Amazing walk through different scenery, one of my favourites in New Zealand so far.
But I think you need good weather for the right feeling. If you have that, it is perfect. I can recommend it to everybody, takes about 6 hours.

Everything worked well and the way from Wellington to Picton is awesome!
If you have good weather you can enjoy an amazing scenic trip. One point less for the high price (about $260) for two persons and a campervan.

Mountain Shuttle

A bit pricey ($30 per person) but the drivers are really nice.
Positive as well is that you can park on a safe parking place for free. Negative was that there is no shuttle bus back from the end of the walk to the safe parking place before 2:30 pm. So if you are faster, you have to walk 800 metres more.
