Best campground I have stayed at and it's absolutely free!!
Right on the river and has a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. Each parking spot has bench, tap and even a washing line! There's even free wifi! Don the owner let's you pick vege from his vege patch to have in your dinner. Love this place, highly recommend. Thank you Rankers!

Went right up close to the waterfalls, very informative staff and saw dolphins. Tad expensive for the length of cruise.

Right on beach to watch the sunset. Fairly expensive for a campsite but for the facilities it's ok

Great location if you're doing one of the National Park walks, really good for a $6 DOC site, clean toilets and cold showers.

Perfect place to stay whilst visiting the Bay of Islands.
New, modern toilets and showers which were always exceptionally clean and always available. Lovely grass areas with benches (we also had our own bench with our parking spot), lots of bbqs to cook on and washing up facilities. Very close to town to book or go on tours. Loved the owner, very friendly and always happy to help, gave us heaps of advice on what to do and where to go next and even helped us jump start our car when we couldn't get it going in the morning! Thanks a lot team.

A bit too pricey for what you get.
All the facilities need a bit of an update and it's all a bit dated and dirty. Caravan area was nice enough and right on beach which was great. One of the members of staff also helped jump start our car in the morning which was very nice of them.
