An informative centre about the Antarctic (lots of things to read and films to watch).
A storm room filled with snow and ice and minus 8 degrees with a chill wind of minus 17 degrees. A sanctuary for Little Blue Penguins - good to watch at feeding time, and a ride on a Hagalund - which was really good fun.

An informative boat trip out of the Kaikoura canyon where the whales are found.
Great for photos and a good way to get up close to whales and dolphins.

Its a really good way to see the country.
Great that you have all you need with you all of the time. Spacious enough for 3 people to travel in ( 1 in a tent) and good storage.

A scenic journey up to the top of some stunning views over christchurch and Lytleton.
A choice if a few lengthy walks, a short informative ride on the formation of the spit. A big resturant and a solviner shop.
